How To Create Facebook Audiences In 2020

Learn how to create Facebook Audiences in 2020 with ease from start-to-finish. I guide you through the step-by-step process of creating audiences on Facebook for your Facebook Ads.

To start creating your Facebook audiences, you must first log into your Facebook Business Manager.

From there, on the top left-hand corner, there should be three lines. Click on it and find the button that says audiences.

Now you are ready to start making your Facebook audiences.

There are three main audience types that you can make on Facebook.

  1. Custom Audience
  2. Lookalike Audience
  3. Saved Audience

Let’s break down the differences between the three audiences:

1: Custom Audience

It allows you to reach your customers and/or people who have interacted with your business (great for retargeting campaigns).

Custom-Audience Targeting Types:

Your Sources: Website, Customer List, App Activity, and Offline Activity.

Facebook Sources: Video, Instagram Business Profile, Lead Form, Events, Instant Experience, and Facebook Page.

2: Lookalike Audience

This is a great way to reach new people who are most likely interested in your business.

3: Saved Audience

An already defined audience that is usually chosen by demographics such as age, gender, income, etc.
