In this video, we are going to show you how to boost your social media marketing.
In fact, we used the 5 tips in this video to improve our client’s social media marketing strategy and presence.
With that, here’s what you’ll learn in today’s video:
First, we’ll explain to you what a content calendar is and why you need to use it. The content calendar (or social media calendar) will be one of the main driving forces of your social media marketing strategy.
Our second technique is to focus on “Quality over Quantity”. You can have thousands of social media posts and if they are not engaging, then your audience will not pay any attention to them. By focusing on the quality of your content, over time you will see steady organic growth on social media.
Next, we focus on utilizing a social media management tool, such as Hootsuite or Buffer. A social media management tool complements your content calendar. They are yin and yang! A social media management tool will be used to schedule out your posts, maintain social listening, and allow you to look at your social media post analytics.
The 4th tip from today’s video is to look at your social media analytics and see what’s working and what’s not working. Here’s the secret… double down on what’s working. I’m sure you’ve noticed that your reach/impressions on most social channels have started to decrease. That’s because social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok want to show users engaging content to keep them on their platforms. The longer users are on their platforms the more ads they get to show. Having engaging content will help you maximize your organic reach on those platforms.
The 5th strategy is to be more personable and less like a brand. It will help your content to stand out and grab attention (this is especially important if you’re in a competitive niche).
Bonus: Don’t forget to be consistent and have fun on social media.
